The project will replace approximately 16.2km of inefficient channel-based irrigation network with pipeline and install automated outlets to reduce water losses and improve reliability.
The project will decrease water losses, yield a further 1,350ML per annum in water savings, and increase farm gate revenue by over $1.8 million per annum.
Who's involved
The project is jointly funded by the Australian Government ($11 million) and Victorian Government ($11 million).

Australian Government funding is provided through the National Water Grid Fund.
Project status
Construction is expected to be completed in late 2024.
