The project will complete the Detailed Business Case and approvals for the proposed Urannah Dam, including detailed design and engineering work, environmental approvals and addressing cultural heritage and native title.
The business case will identify options to provide water security for existing agricultural users, stimulate irrigated agriculture and support new resource projects.

The $22.7 million project is funded by the Australian Government.

The Detailed Business Case and Approvals are underway and expected to be complete in late 2022.
