Mole River Dam

Estimated Cost:

Estimated cost
$24 million

The project will investigate the potential to construct a new dam to secure more water in flood sequences so that in drier times more water can be made available to communities, agriculture, and the environment.

If constructed the project would improve on-farm productivity through more reliable and secure water supply, increase reliability for agricultural production which would help secure existing jobs and support new opportunities and ensure better flood mitigation.
