Mitiamo and District Reticulated Water Supply Project
The Mitiamo and District Reticulated Water Supply Project will construct a new pressurised pipeline to integrate water supply across the district and include a pump station and a winter supply storage dam with net storage capacity of 85 ML.
This project will provide a secure pressurised water supply to sustain a viable regional economy, with improved service delivery and reliability for around 180 rural properties.
The $29 million project is jointly funded by the Australian Government ($14.5 million), the Victorian Government ($10.2 million) and other partners ($4.3 million).
Australian Government funding is provided through the National Water Infrastructure Development Fund.
Construction is expected to be completed early 2021.
