The project constructed a new pressurised pipeline to integrate water supply across the district, and includes a pump station and a winter supply storage dam with net storage capacity of 85ML.

This project provides a secure pressurised water supply to sustain a viable regional economy, with improved service delivery and reliability for around 170 rural properties.

Who's involved

The $29 million project is jointly funded by the Australian Government ($14.5 million), the Victorian Government ($10.2 million) and other partners ($4.3 million).

Australian Government funding is provided through the National Water Grid Fund.

Project status

Construction was completed in April 2021.
