East Grampians Water Supply Project
The East Grampians Water Supply Project will construct around 1,600 km of pipeline to provide a reliable and secure reticulated water supply to rural properties in the East Grampians region.
The project will:
- supply 1,700 ML per annum of reticulated water
- provide around 1,500 rural businesses with the opportunity to access a reticulated water supply,
- cover an area of 530,000 hectares.
The $85.2 million project is jointly funded by the Australian Government ($32 million), the Victorian Government ($32 million) and other partners ($21.2 million).
Australian Government funding is provided through the National Water Grid Fund.
The project is in planning.
