The East Grampians Water Supply Project will construct around 1,600 km of pipeline to provide a reliable and secure reticulated water supply to rural properties in the East Grampians region.

The project will:

  • supply 1,700 ML per annum of reticulated water
  • provide around 1,500 rural businesses with the opportunity to access a reticulated water supply,
  • cover an area of 530,000 hectares.
Who's involved

The $85.2 million project is jointly funded by the Australian Government ($32 million), the Victorian Government ($32 million) and other partners ($21.2 million).

Australian Government funding is provided through the National Water Grid Fund.
