Feasibility studies

The Australian Government has committed funding to the following water infrastructure feasibility studies under the feasibility component of the Fund. This funding to state and territory governments is supporting feasibility studies to accelerate the detailed planning and business case development necessary to inform potential future water infrastructure investment decisions.

As these studies are completed, the relevant state or territory government is responsible for making reports publicly available as appropriate.

Funding from the feasibility component of the Fund is only provided to state and territory governments through bilateral schedules to the Project Agreement for the National Water Infrastructure Development Fund – Feasibility Component in accordance with the Federal Financial Relations Act 2009.
